Plagiarism detection
Plagiarism is the presentation of another person’s ideas or work, without making it clear where they have come from. The University uses a system called Turnitin which can automatically highlight plagiarism by checking papers against billions of web pages and millions of student papers and over 110,000 publications.
Further information and several links guidance on how to avoid plagiarism are available on the Library website.
For further information in relating to plagiarism contact the University Library or see our Knowledge Base articles on using Turnitin.
