Course content
Course content is delivered to most students via Blackboard. Blackboard is an online electronic teaching and learning tool which allows University staff to add resources for students relating to their course.
Content can be delivered in a range of formats such as text, images, videos, graphs etc., to provide the material which best suits the learning style of the student.
The syllabus for each course is usually made available at the outset and can be referred to along with links to course material at any time.
A number of schools offer alternative or additional tools to Blackboard for course delivery:
- MoodleComputer Science
- MedLeaMedicine
- Maths Magic ProjectMathematics
The eLearning Media Library is an online file store which provides teaching staff the facility to link to uploaded material for course content.
Blackboard courses are available for students and staff via the My Manchester ‘Blackboard’ and ‘Teaching and Research’ tabs, respectively.
