IT Services Research training
Research IT aim to expand the possibilities of research using various state-of-the-art facilities and applications, to assist researchers in achieving their research goals. We offer a mix of face-to-face and online training, covering the “Visualization and Data Analytics Apps” and “Modelling and Simulation Apps” and on a variety of topics such as Introduction to Research Computing, UNIX/Linux, programming and programming language, visualisation and data analysis, and optimisation and parallelisation techniques.

Currently, training courses are for research staff and postgraduate researchers only (although this is under review). We reserve the right to refuse requests to re-attend a course, to refuse attendance to those who have failed to turn up to a previous course and to cancel a course at short notice if sufficient people have not applied.
