Staff printing service
The staff printing service is a free, unlimited service provided to all staff.
Printers are usually connected to the network, which allows the printer’s individual queue to be selected without the need to plug a PC directly into a printer.
Print queues are selected in the standard method via the software application being used. The first time a printer is used by a computer, the print queues must be installed to identify which printer documents are sent to.
Free printing is available to all staff. PCs must be connected to the University network to use the staff printing service and the desired print queue must be installed before sending a document to print.
Printing from student PC clusters uses the student print system and will be chargeable, even to staff.
If you need to report a fault, you can find contact information on the label on the front of the printer.
