Faculty intranets
All faculties and some schools have separate intranet sites. Intranets are restricted websites for existing staff and students, containing services and information specifically aimed at the faculty or school.
Intranets differ from faculty and school websites, which have an emphasis on promoting the faculty/school to external visitors, researchers and prospective students and staff.
Intranets are maintained by IT Services but the content and information on the web intranet web pages is normally managed by administrative or research teams in the faculty.
