Discoverer and the Data Warehouse
Discoverer is the University’s end user reporting tool, which allows staff to access data held in the Reporting and Management Information (MI) Data Warehouse. This holds data drawn from the majority of the central administrative systems in a series of datasets or business areas. University systems covered include:
- Campus Solutions
- CRM
- Research Management System (RMS)
- Blackboard
- ResourceLink
Most of the business areas in the warehouse have pre-written Discoverer reports that fulfil the majority of users’ needs. Discoverer also allows users to create their own reports and share them with colleagues.
