Access to University IT systems
Access to a number of the University IT systems is regulated due to the confidential nature and restrictions on facilities to perform functions and access is strictly governed.
To cater for this we maintain an approval system which takes an access request through a series of stages requiring permission from line managers and owners of systems and data. In some instances approved requests automatically enrol staff on waiting lists for training for the IT system.
