Wireless services
This service offers WiFi access across the University Campus. The wireless networks available on campus are:
- Eduroam
- UoM_WiFi
- The Cloud
The preferred WiFi network for staff and students is Eduroam which allows for automatic connection to Wifi and requires the user to enter their university username and password. The UoM_WiFi network can be utilised by staff, students and visitors and requires authentication on each use.

Eligibility
All members of staff and all students are eligible to use this service. Visitor access is also available on request by staff and only via UoM_Wifi.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We aim to respond to service requests within one working day and to resolve your query/request within ten working days. If your request is considered to be a priority when triaged by our IT Support Centre, the response time will be adjusted accordingly.
Availability
This service is available to access 24/7 at locations with campus wireless facilities.
Support hours
9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
