Disposal of equipment
We ensure that all IT equipment is dealt with in a sustainable manner with maximum benefit to the University and the environment.
Our IT Lifecycle Team collects, services, and redeploys redundant IT equipment across the University. We also arrange for the disposal of IT items that cannot be reused.
Types of equipment
Any type of IT related equipment can be disposed of via these arrangements, including:
- Laptops
- Desktop computers
- Monitors
- Mobile phones
- Keyboards/mice
- Docking stations
- iPads/tablets
To arrange drop-off or collection of IT equipment please complete the returning IT equipment form in Connect, or contact the IT Support Centre.
